After more than 15 qualifiers around the world, the Red Bull Rubik’s Cube World Championship is almost here. On 22nd September 2018. Boston will be the place to be for speedcubers from around the world. These finalists will twist and turn for their share of $30,000 and a diamond cut champions ring.
It may have taken Erno Rubik a month to solve the Rubik’s Cube but now the world is competing to solve the Rubik’s Cube in the fastest time. With finalists from more than 12 countries, Feliks Zemdegs will be competing with his fellow speedcubers on the day to try and beat his impressive World Record of 4.22 seconds.
There are four exciting events to look forward to “Speedcubing Mixed”, “Rescramble”, “Fastest hand” and “Speedcubing Female”. In a unique, knockout 1vs.1 game mode finalists will compete in the same game mode, which they won in the national qualifiers.
On September 22, 2018 Boston is the place to be for speedcubers from around the world.
With 43 quintillion ways to scramble the Rubik’s Cube, every ‘scramble’ can be solved in 20 moves or
fewers… who will twist their way to the top?
