Rubik's Championships and Records FAQ

Who is responsible for the Rubik’s Championships?

The World Cube Association (WCA) governs competitions for all Rubik puzzles, including the Rubik's Cube. The WCA organises competitions all over the world with the support of national organisations responsible for national competitions.

Competitions are governed by regulations set by the World Cube Association. See current rules.

Who is responsible for world records?

Official world records can only be achieved during competitions organised by the World Cube Association. World rankings and records are maintained by the WCA. A list of ‘unofficial records’ is maintained by speedcubing.com.

How can I enter a competition?

Each competition has its own registering procedures. Check out the forthcoming tournaments to see which tornaments you are intereseted in, then contact the organisers for more information.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Please select your shipping destination country from the drop down on any page of our online store to reveal the shipping rates to this country...

All products will be shipped within 3 Business Days of order submission (holidays and weekends not included). The method of shipment, as shown on this site, is an estimate only and is to be calculated after the purchaser receives shipment notification via email. Shipment timelines are not to be calculated from date of order. All shipment times are subject to the freight carrier's discretion and as such, the Rubik's.com Shop will not guarantee exact delivery dates of any shipments with the any freight carrier.

What if I need to return my item?

Products purchased on this site are sold 'as is' and can only be returned if found to be defective upon initial inspection after receipt by the purchaser.

Customers have 7 days from the date of shipping or 1 day after confirmation of delivery has taken place (via the U.S./Canadian Postal Service or UPS tracking service) to claim. All claims must be submitted via e-mail to support@rubiks.com or by using our Online Contact Form and be approved by Rubik's Shop Customer Service. The defective item should be returned in its original packaging at the expense of the purchaser.

A replacement product will be shipped to the original ordering party's address or a refund will be issued (of the product value only) upon the return of the defective item in its original packaging.

Return freight costs to the purchaser's ship to address will be at the cost of the Rubik's Shop. No refunds will be made for original shipping costs paid by the customer for returned items unless agreed by the Rubik's Shop.

Who covers the cost of duties, import fees, handling fees, forwarder charges etc?

Because every country processes imported products differently, we are unable to cover any additional fees relating to the import of products purchased from the Rubik's shop. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to cover all fees regarding the purchase of an item. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

How can I contact you about an existing order?

Please email Rubik's or use our Online Contact Form to submit a query about an existing order.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs are different for each destination and are automatically calculated using a freight calculator. The various shipping options and costs are given once an item has been placed in the shopping cart and the delivery address has been provided.

What happens if a package is returned to sender because it is *undeliverable*?

Every once in a while a shipment is returned to us because it was undeliverable. When this occurs, we will issue a full refund for the product total. *Shipping Charges are Non-Refundable*. Please see our Buyer Terms for more information.

Where can I find information about rare Rubik’s products?

What is the minimum order quantity?

The regular minimum order quantity starts from 250pcs and you can also purchase quantities as low as 125pcs through the Express service.

Are there other Rubik’s items that can be customized?
