European Championship 2010
The fourth bi-annual European Rubik‟s Speedcubing Championship, organized by the WCA (World Cube Association), was held in Budapest, Hungary over the weekend of 2nd/3rd October 2010. It was a truly international affair, with more than 250 Cube-twisting competitors from 26 different countries participating. The winner of the headlining 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube event was a young newcomer, Sergey Ryabko .– who achieved an average time of 10.31 seconds in a hard fought series of rounds… Sergey returns to Mother Russia with a cup, a medal, a certificate and a prize of 1,000 Euros.
