Welcome to Rubiks TV where we hope to give you the latest news and highlight some of the amazing things that go on in the "World of Rubik's".

We will update Rubik’s TV regularly with more episodes so keep coming back to see what’s new.

New World Record

In the summer of 2010 the amazing Feliks Zemdegs broke the world record for the 3x3 Rubik's Cube 'average solve' time (over 5 solves) achieving an astonishing time of 8.52 seconds. Click here if you would like to see Feliks in action breaking the world record at the New Zealand Championships 2010.


The new official iphone app is now available. Click this link to our 'Mobile Apps' page… and if you are a Blackberry user, good news. The Blackberry version of the app is due out very soon.


How to Send

We would really love you to send us your Photos and videos so that we can feature them on Rubik.com, and maybe even on Rubik's TV. Here is how to send us your stuff:

Photos and graphics

1. Log in using the blue login box at the top right of any page.
(If you haven't yet registered, you'll need to do so on our registration page, here.)
2. Click this link to visit our submit picture page or find the Submit Picture link by clicking the Photos link in the menu above.
3. On the submit picture page, click the BROWSE (on Windows) or CHOOSE FILE (on Mac) button. This will enable you to find an image file stored on your computer.
4. Find the image you want to upload, select it and click CHOOSE or OK.
5. Complete the remaining fields in the upload form by adding a title, description and tags (tags are single words or phrases that describe your picture).
6. Click Add Picture.
Your picture will be uploaded and stored for moderation by the administrator. Once it is approved, your picture will become available in the Photos section. Please allow 7 days for approval.
Note: if it is a large file, it may take some time.

Videos

To begin with your video must already be uploaded to a video sharing site such as You Tube or Vimeo. If you haven't already done this, upload it now. You'll find instructions on how to do this on your chosen video sharing site.
Then follow these instructions to send it to us:

1. Log in using the blue login box at the top right of any page.
(If you haven't yet registered, you'll need to do so on our registration page, here.)
2. Click this link to visit our submit video page or find the Submit Video link by clicking the Rubik's TV link in the menu above.
3. On your chosen video sharing site look for an EMBED button associated with your video. Click this button and copy the <embed> code.
4. Returning to our site, on the submit video page, paste the copied code into the text box labelled 'Video embed code'.
5. Complete the remaining fields in the form by adding a title, description and tags (tags are single words or phrases that describe your picture).
6. Click Add Video.
Your video will be stored for moderation by the administrator. Once it is approved, your video will become available on Rubik's TV. Please allow 7 days for approval.
