The PET stickers consist of a layer of white PET with the color printed on it, and a thin film of PET on top to protect the printed surface. Those also have the Rubik's logo.
The PVC stickers consist of a single layer of PVC that is self-colored. Since there is no protective film, they don't have the Rubik's logo.
The advantage of the PVC stickers over the PET is that they are more durable as they don't have layers that peel apart, but the disadvantage is that they are a bit translucent and end up having muted colors, plus of course without the logo they obscure that the cube is a genuine Rubik's. The PVC stickers also have sharper edges, and are less comfortable to the fingers in my opinion.
I'm pretty confident that all preassembled, pre-stickered cubes use PET stickers only. If they have the Rubik's logo, the stickers are definitely the PET type.
