Rubik's Eclipse

Objective:

Get three of your tiles the same way up in a ‘locked’ vertical, horizontal or diagonal line.

How to play:

There are 16 are spaces on the board. Both players have 8 tiles. Each turn consists of 2 moves. First, ‘flip’ an opponents tile by moving it to an adjacent empty square (horizontally or vertically, but not diagonally) and turning it over. Second, ‘place’ one of your tiles in any empty square.

The first player to create a ‘locked’ line of 3 – one in which none of the pieces can be flipped because all adjacent squares are occupied – is the winner.
